HISTORY IS SCREWED, I SWEAR.
Do I even need to say anymore? History CT, tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow. Bright and early in the morning when the little birds perch confidently on the tip of tree branches, singing their happy little tune!-.-
To ____ with those who think I am apparently trying to improve my composition writing skills. (Fill in the blanks)
I don't understand why in the world we have to study History. Whatever, I know the textbook clearly states about "understanding the past and how our society came to be" and "learning from past successes and failures". I know it is very, uh, uneducated for me to complain about History and my total loathe for it is probably much due to my prejudice (Melody says it can be used on subjects) towards it.
However. I. Still. Find. History. Stupid.
What the crap are we supposed to do with all the information and dates we took backbreaking effort to memorise. Don't tell me History will help you when you grow up, please. Unless your ambition is to become a Historian, I don't see how memorising all these will "help you in your 'job'".
I don't mean that we should totally forget important dates like September 11th or uh, the year Japanese invaded Singapore. That's stupid. But still, why exactly are we forced to memorise trivial matters?!
Okay, maybe I'm wrong, whatever. Still, I need to let out gas. (Not fart, please. Or burp) And I don't give crap about how I'm not making sense or how stupid, how narrow-minded and uneducated I sound.
Oh, I can hear my Mum's voice in my head already.
"Mel, when you say things like that, it gives people a very negative impression you know... You sound so uneducated!"
Anyway. The whole long chunk I wrote comes down to this : I HATE HISTORY.
The End.
...
Oh well. Had LD today. (: It's all back to the theory work, once again. I guess its bearable, since we played abit of those debate games. It is so much better to open your mouths than to open your ears anyway. But, I really think debate is not bad. Although I still prefer drama, I wouldn't mind if you put me into debate. Good what, nurtures a fast train of thought :D
Lunched at macs with Gil, Rane, Nicole and Gil and Rane's classmate. I ended up loaning seven bucks! Not that I mind though :D
