The best Saturday, everrrr :DDD

Well, if the dance steps were nicer, it would've been more perfect. But it's still great nonetheless :D

Anyway, the day started normally and everything - woke up, had lunch, read, change, go for dance class. No big deal. Then, during dance class, I realised it was the start of a new term, and my mum wasn't there to pay for it. So, despite my reluctance (I don't really ask my dad for these kinds of stuff), I asked my dad to pay it for me. And then, at the counter, I found out that there were two new people who joined the class - one girl, and one boy. The guy was Sec 2 I think. Can't remember. And the girl was Sec 4.

Right, so. The dance steps were super, ahem, s u c k y. Much resemblance to a horse -.- The song wasn't exactly fantastic, but it was okay. Uncle Pat (he demands we call him Uncle Pat) danced as usual, so the steps don't look all that bad. But when we do it, it looks like crap. Yuck.

AND. As if that wasn't enough, after class, when me and my dad walked to the lift, UNCLE PAT was there. Oh God. I was wincing when I saw him and everything. It was darrrnnn embarrassing. Trying to be cough, polite, cough, I said Hi. And then my dad started going all fakey friendly and everything. Totally embarrassing. Here's how the conversation went:

Me: [wince] Hi.
Uncle Pat: [nonchalantly] Hello
Dad: [smile] Hello! [smile, smile, smile]
Uncle Pat: [looks at me] You dance at school or not?
Me: Uh. No.
Uncle Pat: Then you only dance here ah? Once a week only? [Incredulous look]
Me: Uh, yeah.
Uncle Pat: Got dance outside before?
Me: Ballet.
Uncle Pat: Grade what?
Me: 7
Dad: Why, can see the difference ah?
Uncle Pat: [nonchalantly, yet again] Yeah, there's a difference between someone who has gone to a class before and someone who hasn't.
Dad: Heeeheeeheeee.
Uncle Pat: Why you stop at grade 7? Should continue what.
Dad: Heeeheeeheeee.
Me: [Shrugs]
Uncle Pat: Aiya, anyway. Stop also good lah. [Turns to Dad] Scully she become ballenrina, you want or not?
Dad: Heeeheeeeheee.
Uncle Pat: Don't want right. See. Stop also good lah.
Dad: Heeeeheeeeheee.

-.-
-.-
-.-

Oh my shit. Seriously, I hate it when my dad gets all fakey fakey. Yuck. Trying to act friendly, ew. Oh, and Uncle Pat claims he has a wife. -.- He just said he had a girlfriend three weeks ago. Unless he miraculously married in three weeks, I really don't deem it possible. But whatever, not like I stay up all night thinking about whether he married in three weeks or he's cheating on his wife or anything.

Okay, moving on. So, my dad sent me to Lianne's house which was huge, and very, very well furnished. I fell in love with it in first sight. Looks so modern :DDDDDD Hahahah. Well, I went to change to shorts and we sort of watched a bit of Tv, while I continuously munched on Lianne's sinfully satisfying hershie chocolates. Then, we went out to the park and sort of played basketball for it. The ball hates me, I swear. It was fun, but I kept hitting out. -.- Darrrnnnn.

Afterward, Regine and Esse reached the house so Lianne went to get them. When they came back, we went to some park. Tan Keng playground? Uh. According to Mel (I'm not the only living human with the name Melody, you know), they filmed numerous shows there. Haha. We saw this really tamed golden retriever. And it was panting like crazy in the mercilessly scorching sun. It really is a cruel thing to do to keep golden retrievers in places like Singapore with the crazy weather. I touched the dog's stomach and it was literally BURNING. )))): Poor thing.

Well, the playground was CRAZY FUN MAN! ;D We sat on this turning thingy - two a time. Me and Lianne laid down on it and we were practically screaming. Especially me. Esse claimed her ear was undergoing torture. -.- Then we sat on some see-saw. Me and Carissa almost flew out of the seat! So, basically, the trip to the park had alot of screaming, retarding and laughing involved.

Went back about 6.30. Everyone started crowding Lianne's piano and Esse and Carissa took turns playing it. Hence my jealousy. For the benefit of those who don't know, I've always wanted to learn the piano, but never had the chance. Sighhhhh. Esse knew how to play Que Yang! I demanded she taught me, since she claimed it was the easiest song she knew. And I had a blast learning! :DDD Started with the right hand, then the left hand. My fingers were positively shaking, 'cause I've never really had any contact with the piano before, and despite the length, were devoid of strength. ))): But I mastered the left and right hand! Sort of. Just that now, I don't know how to co-ordinate them to play together. -.- I don't know if all piano beginners were like me, but my hand co-ordination skills suck. Big time. Or perhaps it's because I'm so... amateurish. Lol :DD

Then, Lianne's mum called us into the AIR-CONDITIONED KITCHEN, to make pizza! We had a fun time, making weird pizzas and all. Esse and I shared a pizza - we made a pronounced "S" in the middle - Esse's idea. S for Show. And show is Luo Zhi Xiang, for the benefit of the ignorant (Ha! Amanda, I used your line :D). Lianne's dad kept taking pictures :D I think Lianne's parents are the nicest parents I've ever seen - excluding my own, of course. They are very very hospitable, and they are not all fakey fakey like my dad. They don't ask embarrassing questions like my dad does, and they are serious jokers. :DDD

Went back out, and I played the piano, again. Hahahah :D I am so signing up for piano lessons man. My jealousy will be transient! Muahahhahah. We had a satisfying dinner afterward, and everyone was happily chatting. Had cake! Again, sinfully chocolatey. Or so claimed Esse. I didn't really mind. Hahahah. :D

Sang an extra special birthday song, because Lianne's dad played the piano while we sung. :D Prayed for Lianne, then we went out to the glorious deck to play cards! Lianne's dad had this glowing "Heineken" label thingy, so we all took picture with it in the dark. Lianne's deck is probably the nicest deck on earth man. She has a pond as well, with kois like literally 20 times mine. I am totally being sarcastic. ...Not. The kois were FAT and NICE. :D

Well. I was the first to leave, most unfortunately. If only I stayed over. ): Oh well, I'll see them tomorrow again. Hope Lianne and Carissa and Regine come to church early! :D

AND THIS CONCLUDES MY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY LONG POST! I love my cell! :D
Goodnight, people!
