I'm such a cry baby D:

I just finished reading Chinese Cinderella, and I cried twice reading it! Once for Adeline, and another time for the Ye Ye.

Quote from book:
"... his face contorted with sadness and anguish. A tired old man with no one to turn to, imprisoned by his love for his only son, my father."

This part made me cry, along with the part where the Ye Ye was telling Adeline that he has hopes in her. And the father is exceptionally mean to the Ye Ye somemore; he practically acts as if the Ye Ye doesn't exist. I don't even know why I cried during this part. Perhaps it was 'cause I never had a grandfather to look after me, like the Ye Ye had looked after Adeline.

Oh and I love the Aunt Baba :D She's so nice. And I love Victor too, even though he only played a small role.

:D
