I started writing something about Fahrenheit on my previous post, but I realised it needed a post on itself.

I think Venetia's post prompted this, I don't know. And this is not about TVXQ. I just need to, express my disgust for Fahrenheit.

Yes, disgust. Read it. Go on. DISGUST.

Everyone has their opinions, so forgive me for expressing my opinions. Not that I'll ask for any forgiveness, 'cause no one asked you to take offence on this (: What's up with Fahrenheit being the "hottest band" in Taiwan right now? I don't care if anyone is too deluded to agree with me, but it's a fact. Fahrenheit is popular ONLY because of their looks. Which is pretty much mediocre, if you ask me. Fine, I shall give fans the benefit of doubt. They are good looking. Alright. But there's a reason why we call the music industry a MUSIC INDUSTRY, and not a MODEL INDUSTRY, right?

I understand that right now the music industry is no longer rooted on ability to sing, but more on how good looking you are. And of course, a star requires some degree of good looks. However, do you really think that Fahrenheit deserves all this ... uh, acknowledgement and commercial?

No. I don't think so.

Don't give me shit about how they've just started and they didn't train. Who cares. If that's the case, then they shouldn't even start. So, if you have an exam, and because you didn't study beforehand and you failed it, you're going to ask the examiner to allow an exception and pass you BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T STUDY? What about those who've studied and passed? That's obviously nonsensical. It's Fahrenheit's fault they didn't train, and other stars trained, and therefore are better. And Fahrenheit deserves no sympathy and allowance for mistakes and bad quality singing/dancing/acting whatsoever because they didn't train, or trained for only a short amount of time. It's their fault they didn't start earlier and now they're as old as dinosaurs.

If this is the lame excuse you fans can come up for your idols, then, I'm sorry, but you're really not so clever. Shouldn't you at least think of a more plausible excuse?

And don't you fans feel cheated? You pay to watch their performances, and yet they give you such horrible quality performances. Eugh. I feel disgusted, and I sympathize with all the fans. And what's your excuse? They've been through alot? Hahahahahhahahahaha. Which stars haven't been through alot? You think people gain popularity instanteneously? Of course it takes hard work. And who cares if Fahrenheit works hard and have "been through alot". So your examiner should pass you, even though you failed, because you've "been through alot"? No one gives a shit, seriously. Even if you mug day and night for years, and other people study only a day, yet do better than you, it's your problem. Maybe you're just not smart enough.

Hm, maybe Fahrenheit's just not suited for this. (:

You don't get rewarded for your hard work. You get rewarded for your achievements. No one gives two hoots about the process.

And hell yeah. I know Fahrenheit is popular. Just that I don't think they deserve that popularity. I THINK that the reason the tickets were sold out in days is because their fans are deluded enough to pay for bad quality performances (:

Well, if you ask me. I'd rather have intelligent people liking me, than delusional people liking me.

And who cares if they've improved? Sure, I might have improved from scoring a 0 to a 30 out of 100. But it's still a fail. They're not worse, of course, but they're not any better. Like I said, no one really cares about improvement. If they've improved but they are still bad, so what? It's just stupid. You don't reward people for improvements.

Do you really think their singing/dancing is up to standard for any acknowledgement? Hahaha. I don't think so. Maybe Aaron is up to standard. But the rest? Ha, not really. Wang Dong Cheng's acting is perhaps not so bad. But then again, he can't really sing. So, forgive me for laughing out loud.

I know people will say that genius is made up of 10% talent and 90% hard work. Hahaha, whatever. I guess it makes sense to a certain degree. But then again, EVERYTHING HAS EXCEPTIONS. Scholarships are given to those who produce top grades, not to those who work hard and fail.

Please, my friends who like Fahrenheit, don't take offence on this. It's not a personal attack. You can degrade TVXQ too, if you feel it'll make you feel better (: Blogs are meant for people to put on their opinions anyway. If you don't have an opinion, then that's your problem, isn't it? (:
