Not mine, obviously -
Read it somewhere, and I found it sweet.
Dance class was creepy today.
I was extremely reluctant to go, considering that Gilaine and Garyl weren't going; apparently they were shopping for winter clothing for Gilaine, who's fortunately leaving for Pratislava with choir in approximately a week's time. Venetia told me to pretend she was there with me, lol :D
Dance class was exceptionally, exceedingly and alarmingly crowded. I was awfully frightened; it was practically a sea of new faces. Some of them, especially those cliquish ones, appeared to be terrifyingly intimidating. I could swear upon my life I was the youngest there.
There was this girl, alone, who seemed to come across as particularly nervous, hence my initiative to go up to speak with her. She appeared extremely friendly, and told me it was her first in this class, afterwhich proceeding to tell me she came from Nanyang and was from Dance Society. I wasn't surprised; she looked poised. Apparently though, she was more cut out for ballet, and was here to "get hip hop", as quoted.
I decided that Patrick was in a good mood today (random realisation: he is in a good mood everytime a new semester begins), and felt slightly better. My horror was further heightened when everyone stepped into class. There were so, so many people. Can I even describe how many? Or perhaps I am simply exaggerating since I've never seen such a large number of people in my class in the whole year I've been gracing it with my presence. Hm, maybe.
Although my previous position in the last semester was in front, I didn't find it appropriate to stand in front on my own accord; who knows, maybe there are others, now, that far surpass me. And so, I took my place somewhere behind. Moreover, I was sure of that Patrick didn't recognise me, since he made no attempt to show it. Everything went on, as supposed. Until he came to my side of the studio, and said:
Patrick (to a random girl): Have I seen you before?
Random girl: Uh, no.
Patrick: (Scans around and stares directly at me) Only you. (Looks at girl beside me, who has been in the class before as well) And you.
Patrick: (Looks back at me) Where's the other two? (Btw, he's referring to Gilaine and Garyl)
Me: Uh, they aren't here. (I lost coherency, somehow. I guess I was too nervous. How dumb.)
Patrick: Where they go? Overseas ah?
Me: Uh. *Hesitates* Yeah, yeah.
Patrick: But are they coming?
Me: Yes.
Patrick: Wah, so bad, leave you alone.
Me: Yeah. I'm so poor thing right.
Patrick: *Jokingly* Nevermind, you have me.
Me: -,-
Creepy, I'd reckon. But whatever, since when was Patrick never creepy? That guy suffers from bipolar-ism.
Well, dance class just kinda went on uneventfully, until some girl in the front didn't do so well, and he asked her to change place with me. I was so alarmed; everyone was staring at me murderously, as if to say "who are you little thing that you should stand in front".
To make things tenfold worse, he decided that since the others weren't able to remember their steps that well, I should stand in front in a position such that everyone was able to see my every movement. I obliged (what else could I do-,-), standing almost next to him. I felt uneasy. Hello? I'm only what, thirteen and not to mention, the youngest in the class. Talk about embarrassing. Although in the end, I managed to maneuver myself to stand in the first line, together with the rest.
Well, after that everything went on smoothly, except for a few thwarting blunders here and there, thanks to my stupidity.
OH, AND I MET UNCLE STEVEN AND AUNTY LILIAN TODAY. If you don't know who they are, they are my sort-of relatives who came back from Canada (their country). They didn't change one bit, and my grandma appeared overjoyed to see them, and poignant to see them go. I love my Grandma ):
OKAY, DEDICATION TIME.
LIN ZITING
She has the coolest metal-filled mouth in the whole world. Just look at those gums, won't you. Aren't they gorgeous :D Well, I wasn't close to her at all in the whole two years we were placed in the same class. In fact, we didn't think well of each other. Yet, I think LD somehow brought us closer together this year and we're such happy friends now; I don't know what I'd do without her (: She has this fetish for tank tops, and honestly, she's nothing if not weird. She's really pretty, yet somehow when that same comment is made by someone else, I'll think of her curtain hair plus bug toothed days and laugh uncontrollably. She loves Suju, and she thinks Junsu has weird hair. Well, despite all her weirdness I still love her like shit.
I'LL MISS YOU WHEN YOU GO AUSSIE, ZITING.
Hm, I wonder who I shall dedicate my next post to.
